Catalogue installation instructions

Before you start working it is necessary to put a computer with adress www.cals.cz to trusted sites zone. Then you can download important part of the catalogue from the server to your computer.

Select item Internet Options in Tools menu.

Click on panel Security, then select Trusted sites and click Sites ... button.

In the Trusted sites dialog uncheck Require server verification (https:) for all servers in this zone (if it is checked).

Into the first field write www.cals.cz and click on Add button.

Click on OK button.

Now you can login to the catalogue. Fill in your Account and Password and click on LOGIN buton.

Click on Groups and in table click on Engine. In the list of groups select group 003 - CRANKSHAFT MECHANISM. For displaying list of spare parts click on CRANKSHAFT MECHANISM link. Click on any icon in the right column.

Following paragraph is for Windows 7 users only. Users of older Windows versions can ignore this paragraph.

Windows 7 users must do the following. Click this link to download acx2.zip. After it's downloaded, extract its content to an empty folder on your PC. Then run register.bat as administrator

For users of Windows XP and older versions of Windows:

Then a acx2.cab file will be downloaded from the server. After it is downloaded, a prompt window displays that you are trying to install and run acx2.cab file. Click on Install buton.

In older Windows versions these windows can look different. Answer Yes.

You will do this whole procedure just once before the first usage of catalogue.
